September is here which means schools across the nation have officially started their new year. With the start of every year, there is excitement, anxiety and a lot of preparation. Teachers, staff, children and parents spend weeks before the start of school in making sure everything is set.

We want to make sure you’re set with all the needed magazines to stock your library. It is hard to decide which magazines your students may read when you have a range of ages to adhere to. In hopes of easing the stress of starting the school year, we have compiled a list of the top selling magazines for the three different school ages – elementary, middle and high school.

Elementary School

  • National Geographic Kids – An award winning magazine that combines learning with fun. Features great stories on animals, science, technology, and awesome accomplishments of kids around the world. Plus puzzles, games, posters and trading cards.
  • Ranger Rick – The most famous and popular nature-discovery magazine for children ages 7-12.
  • Scooby Doo – Shaggy, Scooby and The Gang head into action in this fast paced comic.
