Rosalee Clearman, the founder of Magazine Subscriptions PTP, was the ultimate giver. She started this company in hopes that she could help provide for her family and give generously to those in need. She did this exceptionally well! During her 89 years of life she was able to give abundantly to hundreds if not thousands of people, never expecting anything in return.

One of the first magazines she sold was Redbook. The magazine is still running today and it is written for young and old, working or stay at home mothers. It focuses on fashion, beauty and health as well as good food and nutrition, parenting, relationships and fiction. It exists to serve mothers in all walks of life.

In addition to Redbook, we would like to showcase a few magazines that focus on personal growth, outreach, and giving back. As we start shopping for Christmas, remember that there are ways you can use your money for good and help build a better community and world!

Guideposts – Carries a unique blend of how-to help for overcoming life’s problems. Features strategies, tactics and tips for a more abundant life, and unforgettable true-life stories that inspire, instruct and entertain. Guideposts’ special features and articles help readers cope with the unique problems of today and beyond. You can even download FREE “Outreach Publications” to hand out to those in your community. Click Here for Free e-Books.

Live Happy – A breath of fresh air in a world of negative news. Their mission is focused on “promoting and sharing authentic happiness, inspiring people to live purpose-filled, healthy, meaningful lives.” Each issue is packed with inspiring & relatable stories, life advice, and ideas for your home, family, and professional career. More Information on Live Happy.

Oprah Magazine (“O”) – Founded by Oprah Winfrey, this magazine offers compelling stories and empowering ideas to women around the world. In several of her issues, she highlights organizations or people that give back.

Woman’s Day, Good Housekeeping, Cooking Light, Travel & Leisure, and Real Simple have all provided unique gift ideas this holiday season. They are gifts with a purpose!

Just as we start to settle into the new season, it’s time to gear up for the holidays – Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. It’s time to put on your baking hats, roll up your sleeves, get out your crafts, and prepare for the upcoming festivities.

From beginners to experts, children to adults, there are several magazines that offer great recipes, crafts, do-it-yourself gifts, and ideas for decorating for the holidays. We have listed a few of our favorites to get you started.

They also provide simple and delicious recipes for your family to try!
